Hi! My name is Katy Beth, though most people call me KB – it’s whimsical and fun – a lot like me! I am a transplanted Southerner with big curly hair who will do whatever I need to do to make your children (or partner) laugh and smile during our shoot. My love for storytelling began when I was a little girl and has followed me through my life in theater and film, as well as off the stage as a photographer. I am so honored and proud to be a Briar Rose photographer, and I can’t wait to capture your story!
KAT
Originally from South Carolina, Kat began her photography journey in high school with an old film camera and a creative drive. After graduating and moving to NYC to study dance, she continued photographing her personal memories around the city and through her travels. Kat has a true passion for finding the light on the stage, as well as behind the camera, and can’t wait to capture sweet memories of you and your loved ones!

Hi! I’m Amanda and I’m originally from Arlington, VA. My passion for photography began in high school and further developed in college, where it became my artistic medium of choice. Photography has brought me so much joy not only as a creative outlet but also as a way to meet amazing people. I can’t wait to help you and your family love taking pictures as much as I do. Let‘s capture some memories together!

Hello! My name is Theadora, Tay or Théa for short. I am a photographer originally from Los Angeles, California. I was trained as a Cinematographer at UNC School of the Arts and am now living in (and loving) New York City. I’m so grateful to have so many memories of my own captured, and I’m passionate about helping you have those, too. I truly love connecting with people, helping them look and feel their best, and capturing their special moments to keep forever!

Hi! I’m Aileen. I’m a Japanese American lifestyle and portrait photographer based in New York City and Los Angeles. I’ve always been a people person, and naturally one of my favorite parts of photography is meeting new people! I love working closely with individuals and families to photograph what they were envisioning and more. I’m super excited to be part of the talented Briar Rose team and can’t wait to capture memories for you and your loved ones!
EVELYN
Evelyn discovered her love for photography in middle school, capturing friends with an old film camera. She earned her BFA in photography in 2015 and relocated to New York with aspirations of becoming a fashion photographer. However, she soon found her true passion in capturing the essence of families and couples. Evelyn’s mission is to bring out your best self in every shot, ensuring a fun and relaxed experience during the session.
Meet the founder: Michelle
Since graduating from Syracuse University, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Photography, Michelle built her career by working at some of the most prestigious studios and publications in New York City.
Combining her experience in women’s magazines with her love of family and photography, Michelle stepped out on her own to focus on her true passion — creating gorgeous lifestyle portraits. Since 2016, she has thrived as a full-time photographer at Michelle Rose Photo, capturing her clients’ precious moments.
Michelle also had a professional goal of providing clients with a more accessible way to record forever memories, as well as help employ other entrepreneurial female photographers. As a result, Briar Rose Photo Co. was born!
